Backpacks

Backpacks are back in fashion. A very usefull trend! Lately a lot of designers are offering their own version of the backpack. They offer backpacks in canvas, leather and exotic leathers. Here are a few of my favourite designers backpack.

Chanel Watercolor Backpack (€2500)

Louis Vuitton Macassar Palk (€1610)

Saint Laurent Biker Backpack (€1950)

I personally have been using a messenger bag for years and I was looking for the perfect backpack. I have been searching for a backpack quite some time now and I've finally found one!

I was walking around with some friends in my favourite department store called "The Bijenkorf" in Amsterdam. The Bijenkorf is a high-end department store on the Dam square in Amsterdam. In the department store, a French brand called Sandro just openend its shop-in-shop. I was not familliar with the brand Sandro but instantly liked everything about it . The brand is stylish and made of quality. Their collections are classic but with a chic touch to it. They will be opening their own store in Amsterdam soon!
Anyways, at that time Sandro Paris had a black backpack in their Fall/Winter collection which caught my eye. It was simple and classic. I've been back a couple of times and bought it eventually.

The backpack

The backpack itself is made of thick black canvas and leather trims. The bottom is made of leather so it is very durable. The backpack itself is a little bit larger than most backpacks but good for my height. I have been using this backpack for a while now and I really like it. It has a lot of space for everyday things + school books. It has enough space for some clothes and pair of shoes, if you go away for a night or two. According to the sales lady, there was only one in the Benelux. (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) which made it even more special.

The measurements are: 42 by 25 by 18 cm and only available in black. This particular backpack is not available anymore but Sandro Paris has another backpack in their collection which is pretty similar in blue. Check their collections out: Sandro Paris
